General Bill   by Finance & Tax Council and Economic Development Policy Committee and Weatherford and Murzin (CO-SPONSORS) Adams; Burgin; Coley; Crisafulli; Dorworth; Eisnaugle; Frishe; Gaetz; Gibbons; Hasner; Holder; Hukill; Plakon; Poppell; Proctor; Stargel; Tobia; Williams, T.; Wood
Economic Development: Requires agencies receiving county or municipal economic development funds to submit reports; requires counties & municipalities to submit reports to LCIR & include in annual financial audits; authorizes extension of economic development ad valorem tax exemptions; provides for distribution of proceeds of sales & use tax & certain other taxes to National Swimming Center at Cape Coral; revises allowable uses for matching grants awarded under Regional Rural Development Grants Program; revises definition of term "jobs" for various economic development incentive programs; revises requirements for the qualified defense contractor & space flight business tax refund program, tax refund program for qualified target industry businesses, brownfield redevelopment bonus refunds, high-impact sector performance grants, Quick Action Closing Fund, & Innovation Incentive Program; revises process for legislative consultation & review of Quick Action Closing Fund projects; revises various provisions relating to DEP permitting; extends expiration dates of certain permits issued by DEP or water management district; provides for inventory of state-owned property; directs DEP to submit annual reports to Governor & Legislature concerning disposition of such state-owned property; requires installation of fuel tank upgrades to secondary containment systems to be completed by specified deadlines.
