Property Insurance: Revises provisions of property insurance law relating to exemption of medical malpractice insurance premiums from emergency assessments, additional surplus requirement for domestic insurers, consumer advocate, OIR, insurer rights, reinsurance or financing costs, filed rates, rate filings, transparency in rate regulation, cost of reinsurance, comprehensive consumer information program, Citizens policyholder surcharge, cancellation or nonrenewal of property insurance policies, notice of change in policy terms, payment of dwelling & personal property replacement costs, TICL option coverage from FHCF, estimates of premium for policy from Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, standards for investigation of sinkhole claims by insurers, contracts for repairs to prevent additional damage to buildings or structures, alternative procedure for resolution of disputed sinkhole insurance claims, neutral evaluators, & required notice for insurance policies issued or renewed in state; requires Division of Statutory Revision to prepare reviser's bill for next regular session of Legislature to revise certain terminology; repeals provision relating to database of information relating to sinkholes.
