Financial Incentives for Electric Vehicles: Exempts specified categories of electric vehicles & components from sales & use tax & motor vehicle title transfer, registration, & tag fees for specified time; provides for issuance of qualifying compliance certificates by Florida Solar Energy Center; provides for credits against corporate income tax for specified fleets of specified categories of vehicles & components for specified time; provides for issuance of qualifying compliance certificates by Florida Solar Energy Center; provides vehicle certification requirements; provides compliance certificate maintenance, availability, & corporate tax return requirements for taxpayers; provides for carrying forward unused tax credits; authorizes taxpayers to elect order of claiming tax credit; specifies mutual exclusion against claiming tax credit or taking deduction for same vehicle; provides for one-time rebate for specified time to entities that install, operate, & maintain qualifying public charging stations for specified vehicles; limits number of rebates per year; provides for one-time rebate for specified time to persons who convert automobiles to specified type of electric or hybrid electric automobile; limits number of rebates per year; exempts certain new vehicle registrations from motor vehicle license taxes for specified time; provides for administrative costs of Florida Solar Energy Center.
